Looks to have withstood the others nights downpour (a months rain in a few hours,so they say)& drained away very well. No signs of any water on the pitch soon after,the next day & Ray says he is more than happy with it.If it survived THAT downpour then surely anything else will be a breeze to deal with.

Now he needs MORE rain to get that grass growing though it must be said the grass is doing fine & any sand on the pitch from before now seems to have all but disappeared. All looking good!

Totally agree Cookie, the pitch is starting to really good. Think there is more rain forecast for the weekend so that should certainly help.

Sand being deliberatley left for Keeple & Betty, Abdullah and the Ramsgate players we are iging.

had a look at it today and there is a green all over it now . Did`nt see any surplass water on the pitch either and Ray was cutting the grass. Up the Gate.

The pitch must surely be looking fantastic-perfect conditions for it to grow and flourish.

 

Who gets to play on the hallowed turf though ?

pitch looks in good nick the weather has done wonders, few light coloured sections but i aint no gardener so dont know if thats good or bad

Probably where it has been reseeded. Which is good, as the seeds have great conditions in which to sprout. My garden is going crazy with everything growing like mad.
