kentish town?

Saf06 - Don't you read old threads, we have also been all over the local Islington and Camden papers like a rash, you couldn't fail to have heard where we're playing next season unless you have been living on Mars for the last six weeks or so:

in terms of what we were aiming for at kentish it was a shambles! its exactly the same as calling arsenals season a shambles-which it was!

Its a way of me saying kentish should be striving for better things!

Plese dont try and use me as a means of tormenting rhodes-although i am not playing for kentish at the moment i still have some good mates there

Some Step 6 clubs are being allowed into the FA Cup - Hoddesdon are holding their breath to see whether they are one! Kentish Town have entered the FA Vase this year but not the FA Cup.

How come Kentish Town haven't played in the FA Vase yet then?

I think it goes without saying that the palatial Copthall Stadium will be up to the required standard and we strongly feel that we could well do a Hillingdon Borough next season if things go our way. Although I think the ruling has changed, whereby teams can enter the FA Cup irrespective of whether they have previously played in the Vase, we felt that due to the early rounds clashing with some high profile Athletics meetings we didn't want to take the gamble of being drawn away in the Extra Preliminary and Preliminary Rounds.

I spoke to Peter at Brimsdown Rovers today and he told me.

Where did he see it? The Rules of the FA Cup currently on the FA site state:

A Club not participating in The FA Premier League or The Football League Competitions

must have competed in either The FA Challenge Trophy or the FA Challenge Vase

Competitions in the previous season to be acceptable for entry into the Challenge Cup Competition.
