I wish Ross Smith all the best at Dagenham, he was a friendly guy on and off the pitch, always bumped into him in town almost every week, it is a shame to lose him....but that's football.

It's a testament to how far the Club has come when our players are being sought and signed by League Clubs but I for one would be grateful to see it stop at two !

I see the BBC and Kent Online claiming Ross only played 58 games... where they getting that figure from? Its was more like 80+.

 

He played 42 Conference games this year alone.

Best of luck to you Ross. As has been said, not only a good player but a bloody nice bloke as well, and one who has been a good ambassador for the club. Will be greatly missed.

 

I suppose that's one of the "risks" of full time football...i.e. other clubs being able to offer players League football and/or more money......
