Lot of action in the Conference transfer market today:

 

Mark Quayle has gone to Chester with Steve Brodie going in the other direction.

 

Woking have released Stephen Farrelly and Grant Payne and signed Marti Williams from Stevenage.

 

And unconfirmed reports say that Dino Maamria has finally made the jump from Leigh to Stevenage.

 

So two of the relegation contenders have offloaded their leading goalscorers. - Interesting.

Maamria is supposed to be going for a five figure sum , as Rocky Baptiste is not interested in the move .

An update at Farnborough :

The AIMITA employee , Robinson , now running the club is refusing to pay Jim Rodwell .Rodwell has indicated that he would play if paid and obviously the transfer embargo would also be lifted .

But then Robinson is employed by Westley .

Still no FA investigation .

The Maamria transfer has been confirmed on the Leigh website, it seems that he has signed a contract with Stevenage until the end of the season (Possibly allergic to the M25)

 

In return Leigh have signed our old friend Keith Scott from Scarborough and taken Neil Campbell on loan from the same club.

No you don't want Stevenage to be relegated, or we could be playing them next season!!

 

The stick he would get would be worth seeing though!!!
