Wader - Yes but I bet you would jump at the opportunity to go on the show and shout about Biggleswade Town and the new stadium from the rooftops, do you want me to have a word in Caroline's shell like and see what I can do for you.

If we ever wanted to appear on that particular show I would approach her myself. We don't for now, so no thanks.

Something that does make money might interest you though. The Carlsberg Stadium has been accepted into an elite group of film and TV set properties. I am not able to divulge any more at this time as our agency deals with all such matters of course. But I'll keep you informed.

Wader - Yes sorry to cramp your style, I know you like to be the main man. Do you know Caroline personally then, she doesn't let anybody on the show as there is a waiting list as long as your arm and even Clement and Kenny Dyer had to go through her strict vetting process before she gave me approval to bring them to the palatial BBC Studios in Marylebone at the end of April.

They are going to bring back Footballers Wives! - Can just see Joan Collins playing provocatively with the Timothy Taylors pump smile

Greg Dyke - I didn't know you were an avid listener to the show, Caroline will be proud of you as she reads this thread.

London Pride for Saturday (in honour of us humble corn chewing villagers getting 3 points in the tough crime ridden smoke at the weekend) grin

Travelling to away games used to be one of my favourite, if rarest, of trips. Armed with a battered map and a copy of the Non League directory we rarely went wrong.

I can text Caroline if you're keen to find out, I'm sure it's not 'Royal Secret' information.

Stones1966 - Thanks, I thought it might have been them having read the following statement on the Ryman League Website:

Hillingdon Borough FC have appeared before the Emergency Committee of the League to answer charges arising out of their Division One North League match at East Thurrock United on 30 September.

In addition to the Club arriving late for the fixture and not having a full team, it had been alleged that statements were made by a Club Official during half time in the match which may have influenced the score.

The Club have been fined for offences relating to their late arrival and to having only ten players.

The hearing of a further charge of bringing the League into disrepute has been postponed until the former team manager has appeared before the Committee.
