Heaven forbid that us great unwashed should pursue rumours on a forum (who on earth does this woman think she is?), but I'd have a wild stab in the dark here and suggest that the club that have asked to be demoted are Hendon and that the manager sacked by text is Russell Tanner at Maldon. Only guesswork though and I have no facts to back any of this up.

There's nothing wrong with a bit of gossiping to get the rumour mill turning, there's just alway's someone though who'll overstep the mark & go too far either in an abusive manner or revealing something that should remain private to the club or person concerned.

I want to know who the old hand is ?

Samuelsmiles - Is life really that bad for you, try living on the breadline on the mean streets of Wood Green with seven mouths to feed.

Well, yeah, I suppose the credit crunch is getting me down a bit at the moment. And my asthma hasn't been too good lately. Or my eczema. It's all over me at the moment, you know, kinda like a rash. Keep on losing every week at 5-a-side. I'm probably drinking a little too much as well.

And what with no Edgware Town to follow this season i've been trawling around the lower regions of the Spartan League. I saw Hadley reserves play E-Trade Deaconsfield on Saturday. I didn't intend to but the 1st team didn't let me know they had pissed off to play their home games at Potters Bar. E-Trade bloody Deaconsfield? Who? Where? I was the only one watching, just me, on my own. Not surprising I guess.

Loads of goals though. 13 of them, all to Hadley Reserves. 13 bloody nil.

I dunno Rhodes, living in Wood Green with seven mouths to feed doesn't sound too bad once you've read my story does it.

Seven mouths. I thought you and your other half had six children rhodes. Or are you on hunger strike?

TommyK - I think that if you're London born and bred like us it's very difficult to move away even if you want to, the saying is also quite true that 'if you're tired of London you're tired of life'.

This could be an interesting talking point as it's Lee Scott's brother Josh who is largely responsible for putting Hayes & Yeading United top of the Conference South, he scores in virtually every game including the pulsating win over AFC Wimbledon last week in front of a record crowd:

Hendonboy - Whilst you're on what's the current situation with Claremont Road and Vale Farm, surely the clock is ticking.
