thought it would be him, he seems very ambitious person the last time i spoke to him he wanted to take the club forward and had some very interesting ideas, good luck to him sure he will be good for Hertford.

No i will not be at training tonight or near future, decided i need a fresh start somewhere. been training hard for 3 weeks now probably in better shape now than i have ever been.

I read a small article in the NLP a couple of weeks ago where he said the club where 'going' for promotion.

I think its going to be a lot more competitive this season in the SSML, and that Hertford wont have it all their own way.

So who do you think the main challengers will be Gavin?

I think it will be closer now that Edgware have gone, but not sure who the new tougher clubs will be. Perhaps Brimsdown, or Biggleswade Town (allegedly)?

I think that the main challange will come from teams like Oxhey Jets/WGC/Chalfont St Peter/ Harefield should be up there again.

No idea about the teams that have come down or up, and not sure if Bigg Town are really going to challenge, but you never know, if the rumours of their wage bill of £2000 a week are correct they would win the league or should be up there, but they may just be that...rumours.

I expect Hertford to challenge again, and I thnk that TWO clubs should be promoted as its daft to just have one club go up.

The big question with Harefield will be if they apply for promotion and if they do so in time!

Not seen Hanwell play so can comment but they should be able to hold their own after being relegated.

Again seems unfair that two teams have come down and only one club has gone up, the league need to change this to make it easier for two clubs to be promoted.

The rise from level 5 to 4 has always been such. It is the dividing line - or rather it has always been seen as such.

1 up by rights makes sense. The downwards bit is more to do with the regional setup and if several teams from one area have been crap at level 4 hence the more down than one scenario to a particular lower league feeder.

It gets worse as well. If you happen to be totally misfortunate enough to be promoted to the BG League then heaven help you. If Bigg Town ever got promoted to level 4 and it was BG League I would really kick up a [****!!****] fuss. Refusal and an appeal to the law courts could be on the cards. Disasterous and FA need to sort that lot out with some haste.
