Just picked this up off the Club Website: 10.10 am

 

News Update

The start date for construction works to the new 5 a-side centre has been delayed by 4 weeks, pending clarification over legal notices.

 

The Club, however, remains hopeful that the re-fit to the Social Club and Offices can still go ahead as planned and works should commence shortly.

 

The works necessary to improve the pith drainage have been completed and the pitch has been top dressed, re-seeded and fertilized. As usual, it will be in top condition for the start of our Pre-Season, dates to be confirmed.

 

Manager, Robin Trott, continues his discussions with new players and any news will be released here as soon as contracts have been signed.

 

Whilst there has been interest in the transfer of Danny Hockton, Danny at present remains a Margate player.

 

The funeral arrangements for our Supporter Dennis Parker have now been confirmed for 12 noon on Friday 22 June at Ramsgate Cemetery, Cecilia Road, Ramsgate. The family have requested the use of our Social Club after and supporters are all welcome.

Maybe my pm did the trick then.Whether it did or whether didn't all we ever wanted was an update & thats now been given. Now,at least we know where things stand (no matter how vague they might be).Thanks to the club for eventually updating us. Please continue to do so!

It could well be that he is a non contracted player like Rob. Threfore, he officially has not be contracted and, the club is qite correct in not declaring him as signed.

 

Dolly Dolton is another example of this at that cowpatch across the island.

if you could turn all the bulls..t excuses we`ve had to put up with over the last 4-5 yrs into good ones we would be playing in the championship by now , what next this is why the fans are leaving us and we don`t make the crowds we want each week because there is no faith , trust , TRUTH whatever you want to call it ever coming from the club . At the end of the day we the fans are the strongest part of the club and if we don`t turn up week in week out with our hard earned money there would`nt be an MFC , bout time we were told a few truths , we pay the wages so we want some +++++++++`s , its all we want at the end of the day .Up the Gate.

I tend to separate the development stuff from the football stuff, (it is being driven by a different company to the football club anyway) and am happy to let better people than me get on with it.

 

I'm here for the footie stuff and just wish there was a bit more visible progress being made on that front that could be communicated
