Looks to have relative youth but good experience, as well as being big and strong.

I like the bit about providing a physical presence in midfield. We have the flair but did lack a certain robustness in that area on occasion.

Ross got shown the door for not signing because another club was interested so it might be that something else is holding up their contracts.

So, we're down to Luke Moore and Chukki Eribenne as our strikeforce so far, Liam needs to hurry up and fast to get another striker or two in to the squad, before its too late.

Definately two, Moore on his own works better as an attacking midfielder than a forward, plus if one player is off for a while injured - there goes your only substitute for the strikers.

In June you can only sign players who have no chance of playing at a higher level, if you are patient you can wait till July and pick up players who have trialled at league clubs and not been offered contracts, which is exactly what Liam did last year....rather succesfully I thought.

It is also exactly how we signed Sodge for peanuts after he pre-seasoned at Gillingham and found himself with no club at the end of July.

I wouldn't get jittery just yet. Most teams aren't awash with that many new players yet, and when you think this time last year I think we'd only signed a couple... at least we have a squad of 15/16 already.

It's more than just a shame, Jimmy. goals scored by minutes on the pitch, Sodje was right up there with Charlie.
He could have been our 20 goal a season striker if only LD had sufficient faith in his ability.
Clearly, as evidenced by his many 87th minute substitute appearances, dropping after matchwinning performances and goals, and his dropping down the pecking order below Chukki,
Sodje was simply never part of LD's long term plans.
In all honesty, who can blame Sodje for walking away?

all the best to sodje, he certainly put in some fine goals, just seemed a little lazy every now and then. Also nice to see so many people with faith in liam. A nice contrast to last season.
