Smoking Ban

Recommended Posts

I know that Charlton banned smoking inside the Valley last season, but not in the concourse that run benetath the stands. I assume that it will be banned also from the 1st July, although surely if you are in the open air then you will be allowed to smoke!!!!

At spurs it has been banned totally within the stadium, from what I understand most if not all have now.

I can understand smoking being banned at football stadiums but can you really call Stonebridge Road a Stadium. Perlease. If it's down to health and Safety then everyone who takes a p*ss should be fined 4 grand with the state of our toilets.

I don't smoke, and can't for the life of me understand why smoking is banned in open areas! My father used to stand in the plough end shed, and smoke, because he wouldn't smoke indoors, and this was over 50 years ago!

Where are people that have this addiction supposed to smoke?

I think this is politicle correctness gone bonkers!

What will they try to ban next?

Before all the Righteous Nellies start spouting costs to the National Health.........Think about the cost, from Saturday/Sunday Park Football injuries(and I include my broken leg in the cost)on the National Health.........Do you want to ban that as well?
