My son Craig is 21 today, since his first game at the age of 3 EFC & ETFC have been part of his upbringing as to what is good in life.

 

To celebrate this occassion Ive conducted a short interview with him:

 

First Game: Redbridge Forest 1990

 

First Away Game: Grays Athletic 1993

 

Best Game: Hayes (A) 1994 & Leyton (ESLCF) 2002

 

Favourite Player: Martin St.Hilaire & Kevin Riley!!

 

Legends: George Borg & Billy Cove

 

Best Goal: Martin St.Hilaire (solo) Hayes 1995 & Stevie Valandia Harlow 2007

 

Best Grub: Netherne Village, Soham Town Rangers & SL's Bread Pudding.

 

Ten Memorable Moments:

1. Penalty shoot out Baldock Town (a) FAC 1998?

2. Preston North End (a) FAC 1999

3. Leicester City (a) FAC 1995?

4. Coach knocking the wall down at Dorking 1994?

5. Yeovil Town 2-1 (H) Got knocked over & trampled on when crowd behind the dugouts were enthusiastic to tell Graham Roberts the score!

6. The Map given in Stony Stratford clubhouse of how to get to the pitch.

7. Never paying to get into Burnham Ramblers ground! (Sch!)

8. Banter with a Diss Town fan when Adam Gant got sent off then we went straight up the other end & scored!

9. Geordie's reaction to a Town player being out of position during an away game at Tilbury, It went something like

"Where's he fecking going now? Oi Oi OI! oh for fecks sake"

10. Being mascot against Hayes 1993-94 season.

 

From never missing a game in the mid to late 90's he now only manages about a dozen games a season due to work & discovering females!

 

He is a good lad & his Mum & I are proud of him.
