Kentish Town Win Top Award

Accidents do happen but that's a ready made excuse isn't it, there was no reason to arrive late as the meeting was purposely arranged at a convenient time of the day so Club representatives could go about their normal Saturday business afterwards.

So, you'll be berating the Edgware Town officials will you?

Having to get to Kent Athletic or Caddington for first thing on a Saturday morning was always a pain in the backside. I certainly don't miss having to do that anymore.

Football Man - Just a little reminder of what you missed last Saturday evening now you have walked away from the administrative side of Football, how does it make you feel:

I was actually referring to the Ryman League dinner dance last Saturday that one of our members attended last Saturday and made you green with envy, no doubt you would have gone yourself had you still been an active administrator listening to the dulcit tones of Trevor Brooking who was guest speaker. You would have also no doubt been at Staines on Monday for the AGM so I just thought I would be helpful and attach the link for your information seeing how you didn't go.

Yes that's right but please don't rub it in, reading between the lines Football Man was gutted that he couldn't go to the glitzy event now he is no longer an administrator for a Ryman League Club.

No not at all, I'm sure you would have given your right arm to rub shoulders with Sir Trevor Brooking, Theo Paphitis and Alan Devonshire and be seen by the great and the good of the Ryman League.

Why do you insist on making stupid assumptions about people? Not only that, you then attempt to take the mickey out of people over things that are no more than a figment of your imagination. We've had non-existent lynch mobs waiting for me at Hertford, my apparent desire to be at the SSML AGM "just to be nosey" and now I'm supposed to be envious of those who went to the Isthmian League D&D because they had an opportunity to "rub shoulders" with Sir Trevor Brooking. All complete and utter nonsense.

Incidentally, if I'd wanted to, I could have rubbed shoulders with Sir Trevor at Yeading FC when we were both in an attendance of approximately 50 people at the Portugal U18 v USA U18 match. (I chose not to, by the way.)

Reading between the lines of your post I have hit a raw nerve haven't I like running nails down a blackboard or chewing tin foil with fillings. This is what I was referring to before about getting inside your head and you don't like it do you, you hate to be questionned and held to account.

Rhodes surely if EVERY chairman was last to leave the party/event would never stop?

Yes but 'Sugar' isn't a flesh presser is he and he's not very good at PR or promoting his Club, I think other Chairmen from SSML Clubs can see through him from a mile away, ours certainly did.

Thanks Phoinex, didn't you used to post on the Kentish Town Forum, you seem like a knowledgable guy and you'll be more than welcome at the Copthall Stadium next season, unlike some.
