Could never understand 100,000 people attending the qualifying, it's like the same number turning up to see the warm up at a footie match.

Then the race starts, broom boom, then you don't see them for two minutes.

Anyway can't account for taste and we are all different so I respect other views.

Golf? yeh not bad, good to play and the Ryder Cup and Opens are ok.

Tennis? Crash bang wallop repeated all the time.

Athletics, now there is a good sport, so much variation.

Tour de France, whoosh missed them and they don't come around again, last day excepted.

Cricket, yeh great when the weather permits.

Give me footie any day, 3 Sats to go after today.

I have to say in my opinion you are wrong about F1, and you have to realise that when you buy any decent F1 ticket, it lasts from friday to sunday. Therefore the mugs must be those that pay but don't go..... but like I said, that's just IMO!!!

F1 is one of those sports that is definitely better live than on TV. The atmosphere is superb. On TV, qualifying is better than the actual race!

I agree, but Footie is all about getting up on Saturday and watching Football focus, then heading off to where ever it takes you.

I can't go to F1 without spending an arm and a leg and flying for hours, also F1 is on a SUNDAY.

Golf you can play any day of the week.

Cricket, just reminds me of BBC2 midweek afternoon sitting down and falling asleep in an armchair, its not the same, as the cut and thrust of footie, on a crap pitch, in the middle of winter freezing your bits off.

So what else is a Saturday for........................
