Whilst we wait for Cookie and the ever popular prediction league for next season; i was curious as to whether there was anyone else left in the world who does not think Wimbledon will win the Ryman league next season.

 

I read they have also signed Karl Beckford from Aldershot today

there is a prediction league for all fans on the FF forum.....Ian -w has set it up and its a cracker...

as for afcw...of course they will win the league.....the rest of us are just cannon fodder... grin

Not a 'done deal', but latest acquisition at Wimbledon could well be Jake Leberl apparently !!

 

Me thnks the Ryman could be somewhat one-sided (and frankly therefore very boring) next season.

 

Still there's always the 3rd round proper of the FA Cup to aim for

Will Salmon signed for Wimbledon this afternoon. Will is a 20 year old right back who was at Aldershot as a youth team player under Terry Brown. He went on to make a couple of first team appearances before joining Fleet in Ryman Division One South last season.

 

At Fleet, he was the player of the year and the player's player of the year. With Terry Brown talking a pre-season break, assistant manager Stuart Cash said "Will is a talented natural right back who we have worked with before. He loves a tackle and is a no-nonsense defender who can also overlap with great energy. He moved away from Aldershot to get valuable first team experience with Fleet and this will stand him in good stead.

 

"Will is a youngster but we see featuring as a regular right back in the first team this season."

 

Speaking to Will, he was very excited about playing in front of 2,500 fans this season and said "I'm delighted to have joined a club like Wimbledon and very enthusiastic about getting out there and
