Ritchie Hanlon has appointed former Stevenage Borough midfielder Mark Beard as his Player/ Assistant Manager. FA Trophy winner Beard, who enjoyed a football league career with Millwall, Sheffield United and Southend United has signed a one year deal. He told Saintsnet that he was looking forward to working with Ritchie and getting the Club back into Blue Square Premier.

So we have a new manager with no experience of management and a new coach with no experience of coaching, apart from a course to pass a 'coaching badge'......

 

It could be the most inspired appointment in the history of the club to appoint the 'best young management team in non-league' or it could be 'We thank the management team for their commitment during their time at the club' by the end of October.

 

Whatever happens they will get my full support until destiny decide which path they will be taking.
