I hope that that is not the end of the debate...

 

Can we revisit this with a further poll at a later time..

 

I know that it opens up the site for 1 or 2 to abuse it, but it does stop genuine fans from ours, other clubs, and general surfing passers by to contribute.

We are at a stage when we need as many people as possible to be exposed to the Fleet gospel, and a full and varied message board can play a part in achieving this.

But if you didn't have to register to vote then you could vote as many times as you like under different names.

 

Given an hour to spare, someone could have voted for the whole Gravesend, Margate and Dagenham squads and made a good start on Stevenage as well.

I think there are obvious pro's and cons to this debate, it's a shame that the odd non registered numbskull can potentially spoil and prevent decent folk airing their views, is it not fair to say that such idiots can be cut off the equation by the monitor anyway ?
