We've Got Work To Do

Are we all having a funtastic close season? I hope so...With things slowly taking shape with the team and at the club, time is starting to pick up and before we know it, the pre season friendlies will be here...and it won't be long after they start that we'll all be hankering for the competitive season to start.

 

Of course, with the football comes the ground and like me, you want the club to look as spruce as we can make it, so...

 

...I would like to ask as many people to come down the club and spare as much time as they can (weekends or evenings), helping to give the ground the "lick" of paint, hoe the weeds, erect a fence or pitch barrier...whatever. You don't need to be a Tommy Walsh or a Charlie Dimmock all the club requires is your helping hands and enthusiasm.

 

Now, having spoken to Steve Kent and Mick Nixon, there are plenty of jobs to do around the club, so all you have to do is present yourself to the club this weekend and they will only too pleased to employ you.

 

Now, for those of us that like the idea of the communal work party, I am going to put together work parties for the weekends of 23rd / 24th, 30th / 1st and 7th / 8th.

 

Please PM me or even answer this post. If you do wish to help out this week and don't know who to contact, ask the question.

 

Let's get the ground looking tip top and Bristol fashion (Charlie's Dimmocks...again...) because it's our club and we're proud of it!!!

Remember guys, we've got about four weeks to get get down the club and help out with sprucing it up for the next season...
