Flanagan Gone

Speaking to a couple of players who said Mike flanagan left about 2 weeks go over a pay dispute and Macca is now Trotties no2. If this is true and I have no reason to mistrust these players why has there been no club annoucement ?

I've looked through previous threads and can't find anything about flanns going. Another cost cutting exercise. Does that mean trotty is going to be physio as well ?

Seems sensible. When the club said they were looking to trim the budget I thought the obvious moves would be to release Charlie (and have SCS as No. 1 keeper with a young lad on the bench), also to let Flanagan go.

I think there was a rumour that MF might go around the last match of the season (seem to remember some rabid Rams fan telling us how Gills fans rate him as their worst ever Manager/Coach). He wasn't included in RT's retained list, though their was a vague mention of him in the Gazette when the retained list was announced.

If RT is going to be in the dugout at matches then he is an area where we can make a cut in the budget, however I really believe we should have a qualified Physio on board at matches and training - not just someone to rush on with a wet sponge.

If he has gone - all the best to MF for the future.

Peter w it was me who give reference to Flanns popularity with gills fans and not a rabid Rams fan as you sugest in your post (15-5-2007)or was you trying to be humourous ? I started this thread to put forward the sugestion that we have once again be told nothing from an official source and I for one would like it to come from the club not players.

My apologies for tarring you as a Rams Fan. All I remembered was there was mention on the forum that MF might be on his way out.

 

Though there has been no Official word he has left, there was also no Official word that he had been retained from last season.

 

Looks like we're back to the dark ages as far as Press Releases are concerned with the Red side of the Island showing us how it's done (still no official word on the Harte signing perhaps it's not a done deal).

Apart from being fast off the mark in all areas including team selections their active youth set and ensuring their web page reflects what is going on I have also been told that three under eighteen second years have been contracted if they can do why on earth cant we!!!!!!

 

RT needs support I hope he gets it!

well according to met police website harte has signed for us for a better deal so it states.

cannot see them making it up, so its back to the mfc cant be bothered to update us on anything
