I was just about to post that! Great minds...

 

To help others out, HTFCew is pointing to this particular entry:

"Sorry but I'm a little confused as to where this has come from and I would like to put the record straight if I may. I was the First Team Secretary of Kentish Town last season however I have stepped down to allow the former Secretary back into the saddle after a year off, he will also be looking after the administration of the Reserve Team and I will not have a Secretarial position at the Club at all as you suggest."

regardless of what I am better than that at or not (and thats a cheap shot)..I don't like the way you guys bully rhodes and I shall continue to stick up for him.....

he has more humour in him than most but can WE spot it...

Folks - Just to clarify that this is perfectly true, it was actually my idea so as 'Sugar' cannot hold a gun to our Club's head in future and come out with comments such as the following in any tell tale letters to the SSML or the FA that make my PM's to Ian about some of you lot seem like chicken feed:
1. The Secretary of Kentish Town FC has deemed it fit to publicly make numerous libellous accusations against the Club and me in particular over the past 7 months or so on an open public forum designed to allow banter between members of other clubs in the SSML.
2. We believe such conduct is unbefitting of a Club Secretary and brings the league into disrepute as aforementioned and we hope that the committee of the SSML agree.
3. At the very least Rhodes postings have made it clear that he has discussed the content of my e-mail with his Chairman and in the full knowledge of our complaint the club have not taken any steps whatsoever to curtail postings of this nature by their own club secretary and ensure that he desists from such action.
4. We are at our wits end with regard to the disrespectful and arrogant manner that we are being treated by a secretary of another member club and feel we have no option but to seek that the league take such action as they deem appropriate to put an end to the constant vitriolic and libellous attacks upon us.

fits in perfectly with my understanding of the situation rhodsey old boy...and having witnessed first hand the potential our friend has for innuendo.. gossip..double standards and lies....well....

3praise - I'm still very much part of the club but, thanks to your lord and master, I don't hold a Secretarial position that's all. I am now working solely on fundraising, the Academy that is now on the launch pad ready for blast off and public relations issues such as spreading the gospel Worldwide.

well if you read the posts properly wader you'll see exactly who's bullying who...that was FM/PBT's complaint about rhodes....?????

you may well recall this is the same PBT that took great delight in informing the forum world that our changing room had been broken into 30 minutes after PBT played at our place....it wasn' broken into as you well know.....(errr well who nicked all the gear from the away changing room then) grin

Rhodes - I for one can fully sympathise with Aki - your constant torrent of abuse against him, which continues to this day, was unacceptable from an official of another club. You have unbelievable cheek in referring to his complaint as "tell-tale", especially in the light of your own attitude to "snitching", school sneak style.

 

What was all that nonsense about becoming reserve team secretary then - was this your club's initial response to the complaint, which had to be abandoned when someone pointed out that it changed nothing vis-a-vis the abuse of the Haringey chairman?

The above is a valid point Cecil, you have to admit it.

 

Banter and expressing your opinion have got to be sancrosanct, but there is a line somewhere. Have you crossed it? I have no idea as I am a new kid on the block so to speak and have little knowledge of your history with HBFC. But both you and they clearly feel aggrieved about things.

 

Through the services of 3Praise and by private message, can't you just communicate in a civilised way with that club and finally come to an understanding and leave it at that?

wader - Tiger007 has done that many times even wishing teams playing against KTFC good luck with the season (which i assume includes haringey). and as many have said before noone has anything against KTFC - but when somone affiliated spreads lies and deciete about another club and other clubs on the forum i.e. Ruislip manor, PBT, Haringey (just to name a few) he needs to know that he cannot get away with such behaviour which pushed "sugars" hand to write such a letter in the first place.
