Paula - Do you want me to post you mine as I've read it, PM me your home address. There was a small report on the Canvey v Southend game that read as follows:

Southend came to Park Lane in dominant mood on Friday night, scoring six goals in an impressive performance. After a goaless period the Blues opened the scoring when Gary Hooper tapped in from close range. Matt Harrold was then fouled in the box and got up to convert the penalty. Southend continued to put pressure on the Canvey back line in the second half. Young Belgian midfielder Franck Moussa hit home the third with Lee Bradbury pouncing to score the fourth. Canvey then had a spell where they played with more attacking flair. Ian Luck raced clear of the Southend defence to slot past Darryl Flahvan. However Southend were to have the last word with Billy Paynter scoring a close range volley and Lee Bradbury getting his second to complete the scoring. Canvey will feel there were enough positives to be taken out of their first pre-season match. As for Southend their third Ryman One North scalp in a week will need to be backed up in the upcoming fixture with West Ham United.

Paula lives in Benfleet, if I wanted to I could easily walk the streets to find her car parked outside her bungalow as it's only a small town, I made a mental note of the registration number yesterday.
