The legendary Malcolm McDonald use to be an Angel. He's the president of North Shields FC smile

P.S What page number is it on? I've not read it yet. Just looked at the pictures smile

Can't be that much of a legend if you cannot even spell his name.. smile His brother used to play for Romford.. Neil Macdonald.. grin

Football Man - So in other words you would stay away from one of our games just because you don't want to come face to face with me, I still remember the look on your face when i turned up at Parkfield on 23 December last year to see Paula and you soon disappeared without a word. No I don't believe that Jeff is joining the Club as my right hand man on the PR side, as you say he has experience but we don't believe he is dynamic enough for that role and go knocking on doors in a Jehovas Witness fashion.

No. If a Kentish Town game is the one that appeals to me most on any given day, then I will go whether you are there or not. I am just saying that far more Kentish Town games are likely to appeal to me if you aren't there.

Yes, I remember thinking "poor Paula". She almost wet herself with laughter when I told her it was you and wouldn't believe me until you came over to talk to her.

Where did I say anything about a right hand man?

Okay I stand corrected but why would you automatically assume that I would be replaced, if Jeff does join the Club then I don't think PR would be his strongest point as he's not a Max Clifford and would be better suited in another role on the Committee.

Jeff is joining the Club, but he will have a new role within the Club. So watch this space. Would you like a job at Kentish Town Football Man, then drop me a line and we will set up an interview, always willing to help out an old mate, you take care now.

No, thanks. My days of club admin are behind me (unless a professional club want to offer me a full time day job!). But I'll add you to the list of clubs that have made approaches this summer. It's all good for the ego! coolsmoke

3praise - What are you on about as you don't know Jeff from Adam, for your information he is going to be 'the great one's' chief cook and bottle washer, a bit like Chicken George in Roots.

Do you really think we would offer you a position at our Club after the way you treated us at Parkfield, like something you brought in on your shoe, you portray yourself as a whiter than white, salt of the earth, character who loves the beautiful game but how could you treat a fellow non league Club in that fashion.

Ah, but the offer is there in black & white, clip Rods and if I chose to use it in my football cv (which I won't, by the way) nobody would be any the wiser to argue against it.

Do you mean the way that I personally offered Kentish Town a lifeline away from a Haringey Borough committee that included Cliff Rhodes?

Think we've been down this road too many times before, clip Rods, for your comments to hold water. Anybody reading this who still cares about your petty argument and "chip on the shoulder" attitude towards a groundshare that you had no personal involvement in or knowledge of (and they appear to be growing fewer by the day), is going to take your comments with a pinch of salt.

Yes but as I've pointed out before if we had known it would be very much out of the frying pan into the fire I think the Club would have preferred to fold.

How has another thread epecially one titled "pre-season friendlies" turned into another Rhodes KTFC slug fest! I used to wonder why the likes of LATO stay off - now i know why!

That's very much the Club's opinion, I wasn't even there at the time as you are always so quick in pointing out.
