I do read that Ramsgate have confirmed the signing of a defneder from Fisher though.

uummmmm....are'nt we currently two central defenders and a right back short ,and six weeks into the close season.

Has Ward got his act together and/or signed Davis because Schulz and Graham may be leaving Ramsgate ?

I'm sure RT will amaze us with some quality signings soon to replace those released

Dolton and Whisker have been reported as signing for the Rams on the 'Kentfootball' site in an interview with Jimmy Ward. Good site,I recommend it to those who aren't aware of it. Apart from Bromley as they ahd a spat with the webmaster and won't talk to him or let him report their games any more. But all other Kent clubs are covered from Ebbsfleet to Sporting Bengal.

Nick was dual-registered with us and Fisher last season so not a replacement for anyone, just a result of Fisher's clear-out.

That player released by Gillingham that Ward is speaking to tonight might be Luke Howell. On loan at Folkestone last season.

MM I'm sure Trotty will be bringing in some good signings. Not too bothered about the players that have gone (other than Provs but that wasn't going to work for reasons that have already been covered).

Hope you are right Porka.

Just my impatience and nagging doubt that RT has not got enough contacts in the non league game at this early stage of his management career, manifest themselves from time to time.

Look forward to him proving me wrong as ever.

Interesting that Wisker snr seems supprised that DW has signed for rams. I do not put much credance in what macarthy says.

Also intersting that WS has not denied the rumour regarding another Kent club that DW may have signed for. It seems that e will all have to wait to August to find out who has gone where if anywhere.

Read Mcarthy article carefully. Dolly Dolton has not signed for Rams but is going along to pre-season training and, the Chuckle Brothers will decide if they want to keep him.

As for Dan Wisker, how come his father denies all knowledge of him having signed for them.

Wait until there are official announcements from the club before believing what is in the gutter internet press.

Its also on the official Ramsgate site Joseba.

Never mind-i guess we just need to concentrate on how well RT is doing in assembling a squad for next season ,and look forward to hearing on who he has signed to replace those released.

If it is on thier official site then I must appologise (never read it though so will have to take your word). However, I was just taking what Bigtw was saying about his son as the truth but, I must have been mislead by him.

I just hope he has found his level of football and most of all enjoys it as it is such a short career.

Good luck to Dan if he has signed for the Rams, a nice lad and a committed player imo. Be strange not seeing Tony at the games though.

Joseba of course I would keep quite over the move untill the contract had been signed. It is also not fair on Danny or the club as Ramsgate like to put it up on the web site once official.

Pagester of course I will be supporting whoever my son plays for as you would. Its a shame your boy isnt over hear now as we played the up and coming 13s yesterday and had a lovely bar b q after thats where the photo was taken for the web page.

I'm really glad he has signed for Ramsgate and believe he will get the chance he deserves.

Unfortunatly I still believe Margate Think you can keep ploughing money in for the quick return to the conference without getting the foundations correctly in place ie youth policy so even once they get there if they do, it will all come crummbling down. Look at the comference sides like Stevenage borough who have one of the biggest youth setups around they keep producing quality players year in year out to bolster the side. Ramsgate have realised this and are now reaping the rewards with youth still coming throw every year. I'm glad and proud to be part of that Youth system and hope my 13 year olds will become first team players of the near future.

Good luck to your boy.

Can't agree about Stevenage, however. Take a look at their first team profiles and there are only two players who you could genuinely regard as home-grown (Tyron Sealey and Jack Bradshaw). Both made just two sub appearances last season.

Their squad is the usual mix of ex-league players, the ex-Grays contingent and the occasional signing from the smaller local rivals (Hakim, Morison).

How old are Wisker and Dolton?

That makes for an impressive midfield for the Rams- Dolton as good as Yianni attacking and Wisker a good replacement for Munday who presumably will take a coaching role?

That's Suter, Dolton, W.Schulz, Phillips, Minshull, Pettit, Wisker, Hadden to choose from in midfield!! Difficult choice IMO!

Looking forward to PSF's even more now!
