Chelmsford Get Fired Up

It's amazing what you find when you're tidying up your gaff. Those of us that like to keep our place neat and tidy, pile any old rubbish up to feed the flames...

 

Well, just get a look at what was burning down at New Lodge this week

 

 

 

 

 

 

I suppose we should've warned the Environmental Agency about contamination but I believe we acted well within the rules...

 

...brought a chuckle to some on Thursday night...Should've saved it for Bonfire Night.

I'm sure most of us Clarets are glad to see that as well Gazza - hopefully the final nail in the coffin of a particularly bad period in our history which hopefully will never be experienced again.

Should've Ebayed it. I'm sure a Chelmsford fan would've bought it. I would've if the sdituation was reversed. Would look good in the garden.

Admittedly part of CCFC's history - but looking good in the garden? I don't think so. Besides, it would tend to take peoples attention away from the wishing well and garden gnomes!

Actually Big D, we were going to make the offer to Chelmsford Borough Council to handle your waste product but we relented as we were sure the only "tip" appropriate would be Melbourne Park and that has enough rubbish dumped on it between the months of July and May...

 

So we did 'em a favour.

Hee hee i did think that was the main cause for the previous statements on both sides BC.

 

Still it wont be long now till we at least get next seasons fixtures...a whole new debate to play with.

The Clarets are due to start away this year - East Thurrock or Leyton would be good to get out of the way early on.
