Transfer deadline is approaching and I guess Andy wants him just in case we need him. Sensible business if, as I suspect, Parker's not costing us an awful lot.

It's a non-contract basis so it won't add a lot to the wage bill. Once the transfer dealine passes we won't be able to replace any injured players. so it makes sense, particularly when you consider that we don't know how long Liam is out for or whether we will be able to extend Chris Giles' loan period any further.

 

It gives us an extra player with Conference experience.
