Who would have thought back when we were beating Bedford to gain promotion to the Conference that 5 years on all this would happen. This really should be the happiest day in the life of a Fleet Fan. New name, New sponsor (high profile), new kit, new stadium in the pipeline. The future really is looking good.

 

I say raise a glass and toast the future.

I know they said they would be giving away free Eurostar tickets in competitions but whats the likelyhood of discounted ones?

How about free or 2-for-1 Eurostar ticket for every season-ticket holder, encouraging casual fans to buy a season ticket, and thereby maybe pop along more often than they would if they had to pay every time...?

Happier than Bedford itself? Sponsorship deals can aid on-pitch progress, but ultimately one's enjoyment from football is all derived from the on-pitch events themselves, surely?

Dear boy, you are correct. This marvelous deal in my opinion will enable us to have many enjoyable seasons on the pitch rather than the prospect of being a yo yo club. Bedford was a great moment but so was Weymouth 78, but that is the past and those matches build for the future.
