They have added the services Lee Protheroe to the Canvey Old boys how many are they up to now but of course it is all down to the generosity and fund raising efforts of their supporters to maintain their 'small' budget and Jeff has nothing whatsoever in terms of financial input

Morning BC. You gotta have a little chuckle though...All those conference players not wanting to continue playing conference football - Dropping 2 levels and wanting to play for your good selves all of a sudden. Now, there has to a connection somewhere. Perhaps it is the relish of a new challenge whistle...who knows. It could also be muted as short term vision wink

I see that you, Sticky Toffee et al are starting up your usual 'Ricay bollox commentary on the Sloppy B...I was quite surprised to see BC take credit for keeping our little old forum alive...Must remember to thank him personally...Us villagers would just be snoozing the close season away, allowing you "bigger" clubs (choke!!!) to increase that gap on us...

Come on now Gazza, I didn't take ALL the credit myself - I was assisted by someone else residing around 550 miles away from your Club's headquarters.

But that's because your forum ALWAYS has more up-to-date information than we do with regard to our signings Keith. Also, there is often an added bonus in that we can sometimes establish from you guys exactly how much these players will be earning, and what our overall playing budget is likely to be. Unfortunately, that information never seems to be available on our own forum.

Yes tis a fact that your forum breeds so many arguments about the lack of news from within your club. And when news breaks that you all deem as great/wonderful/truly immense you are all lovers again. Could this be the reason your chaps are too knackered to make any sound at games! shocked
