They certainly did the job, a good performance by most of the team and some great crosses from Beckham, he is greatly welcomed back in the squad.

 

Estonia deserved a goal I thought from their possession, which was quite embarassing at times how long they had the ball for, just glad they had poor finishing.

Did the job that was expected of us. Crouch and Beckham played well and Gerrard dominated the midfield but Lampard once again was anonymous.

What has Downing done to get in the England team? How the hell he gets in the team ahead of the likes of Gareth Barry and David Bentley I really don't know.

The game was casual and lacked tempo, similar to the Andorra game. The Brazil friendly was enthralling but the qualifiers have been 'get the job done' games. Lets hope that we play Croatia and Russia similar to the way we played Brazil.

 

I think we will be ok, so long as we don't get too nervous at the new Wembley.

i dont think we can have gerrard and lampard, i would like to see someone alot more speedy and pacey as gerrard and lampard are very much alike. altho the only difference is you see alot of gerrard, i wasnt even sure lampard was playing last night
