The New Sponsor......

Recommended Posts

Still no news about LD signing a new contract, maybe he's waiting to see what (if any) funds are available when the long awaited sponsorship deal is finally announced.

I would assume that he would want something reasonable, after the success of last season he and the fans want to keep the improvements going, and that will take funds.

Not really.

What if they always get asked these sort of things about their dealings before the press release? Do they say no when the answer is no but say no comment when the answer is yes? Or do they say no comment all the time?

If it's the former then it's a very silly way of doing business and Eurostar didn't get to where they are today by doing business in a silly manner.

I would presume that a company which has nothing to do with a club would say no, EUFC however I'd expect to obviously say no comment. It's certainly true that big companies don't comment on many rumours, but if they've got nothing to lose by saying no why say no comment.

Yes but they will in the future. It will become common to ask Eurostar a question then see what answer you get and fellow the trend. "No comment" will simply replace "yes", where as if they say no comment all the time...

I'm not saying it isn't Eurostar, infact if I was a betting man...

It's obvious I didn't mean in the literal sense, not unless they were in the habit of sending 1 word replies.

Well all they have to do is look out the window when flying to France, won't be able to see the Fleet from Eurostar though!

That isn't how easy jet works...they would fly you to Luton then send you to Margate by coach where they would sponsor Folkestone.
