Tom Davis

Recommended Posts

It is interesting to note the opinions of everyone on the message board including those of AFF who claims to have better sources of information than the chairman, vice chairman and manager. It is my belief that one offer has been submitted for Tom Davis and this possibly came from AFC somebody or other. There has been as I understand, no other verbal or written contact with any other club regarding Tom Davis and this comes from a very reliable source down at my local pub. If Lewes are interested as Lewis ( I know - sic ) implies, then perhaps he could get his sauce to get them to confirm their interest ?

I've not mentioned Lewes, you interferring mischief-making fat pr!ck.

Rather than spending time in your local pub looking for gossip concerning The Mighty Saints, your time might be better spent resolving your problems at the Planning Department in North Essex.

The Non League Paper gave want-away Tom a right of reply over the weekend. In the article ‘Davis: I’m No Saint’, Tom states that he is frustrated by the club placing an unrealistic value on him that will prevent interested parties pursuing their interest. Tom went on to say “I see no chance of being here [Clarence Park] next season". He added “I’ve been here two years now and to be honest I don’t have anything more to learn.”

He could learn that the best players perform over the whole season not just the first half, & don't incur 15 bookings from misstimed tackles & petulant comments. Whilst I rate his ability his ego seems to have got the better of him. Does he really think clubs, better than the Saints, will be queueing up for him?

I do hope your not suggesting that Son of Geordie is not me! Now I know why 'That Bloody Nice Bloke' calls you a Lapdog! Nice to see him still using profanities tho'.

Peter Lewes - the best chairman the Saints never had. borg
