Some things never change

Southall returned to league action and had a very welcome 4-2 win away to Willesden Constantine.

 

This result lifts Southall to within four points of the second bottom club and nine points from safety. Southall have five games in hand over the two clubs above them.

 

The web master has received the following statement from the Middlesex County Football League:

Southall FC played three ineligible players in the final - 2 players had only played three matches and one player made his league debut League Rule 8(q)(ii) the club were advised of this at half time.

As Southall won the match the team was presented with the Cup at the end of the match and then returned the Cup to the league. Under these circumstances the final has been awarded to Wraysbury FC.

I think the players are usually asked to return them, though it would depend on the relevant League and County FA concerned.

 

One rule for some, and another rule for the rest !!!!

I have been looking in awe at it and have been unable to bring myself to comment.

 

Maybe not the only Krooner Legend to be seen again.

June 12th

Southall Football Club failed to attend the AGM of the Middlesex County Football League held last night at Yeading FC.

 

If the people who currently control Southall Football Club have no further interest in the continued existence of the Club then the web master urges them to make this public to enable any interested parties to put forward rescue and development plans.

 

The web master has been advised that Southall Football Club is due to be suspended today by the Middlesex County Football Association over a disciplinary matter.

 

June 11th

The web master has today been advised that the suspension on Southall Football Club has been lifted thus allowing the Club to attend tonight's AGM of the Middlesex County Football League
