Own The Club For £35

Recommended Posts

Have come across this website http://www.myfootballclub.co.uk/ which aims to take over a football club.

Basically they are trying to get 50,000 people to commit £35 to a fund to take over a football club, with the £1.375m raised. Each 'shareholder' would then have an equal say in running the club, manager, players, tactics etc.

Funding each year would be another £35 per person, 'annual membership'.

For every member who joins, they can vote for a club of their choice to be taken over. The club taken over will be the one with the most votes, which falls within the pre-agreed criteria.

Could be an interesting way of funding the club wink
