dangerous drinkers...dr jeckyl or mr hyde

Recommended Posts

according to the governments new white paper I....dr jeckyl... am one of them...sitting at home on my patio drinking bottles of wine with my friends and family....

I am also public enemy numero uno because I smoke....

I am however..as mr hyde... considered acceptable when I go out at night doped and cidered up and mug old ladies and break into peoples homes and destroy their lives by stealing their treasured belongings...wrecking their homes and crapping on the carpet as I do it...for that I get a caution....I am deprived you see with poor parentage...I terrorise the streets and frighten law abiding citizens..I drink and take class a drugs because I am sad and unhappy..

if I stab some fcker who annoys me by complaining about me jumping the queue at the kebab shop I get 3 months suspended....fck him he deserved it and I'll do it again....no one cares....I am mr hyde..

I'm back now as the good dr.....public enemy numero uno and a dangerous wine drinker..the government are spending 100 million to stop me drinking wine with my friends and family and having a cigarette...

My sentiments entirely, Unc !

We Smoke - We Drink, and suddenly we've become total enemies of the State.

If the State did more to catch, (and give a good thumping to), pedo's, rapists etc, I'd be a far happier man !

Drink responsibly, or no more than you can handle

Dont pollute the air of others when you smoke

These are fairly reasonable requests in the the modern age.

What more can the police do to catch paedophiles and rapists that they arent already doing....false rape claims are hindering them...the catholic church is hindering them...offenders families and friends are hindering them..but the law makers (in my eyes) are certainly determined to catch and prosecute them.

Please dont think otherwise !

I swear you lot....

Mr Dyke - outrageous

The Unc - as Daily Mail as ever.

Yep - its Nanny State-ish but this country (me included) drinks to excess - which imposes an unfair burden on the NHS. But as an uber capitalist doubtless you have private healthcare so provided you don't deprive the rest of us who gives a monkeys.

A sweeping generalisation is that the Brits drink to get drunk. But from first hand experience of many towns around the country of an evening it seems to be a fair one.

Yes, it is a generalization. You will notice the drunks in many town centres, mainly on Friday and Saturday nights.

You will not however notice the many more people that have had one, several or even quite a few drinks but are behaving themselves reasonably having had a good time in the pub with friends, or a few glasses/botttles of wine on the patio with friends.

The issue isn't whether or not they behave reasonably. The issue is that heavy drinking damages health. The NHS reports that drink related illnesses and incidents are creating a drain on their resources. Prevention is better than cure and therefore the Government is trying to re-educate a nations drinking habits. There are various campaigns and schemes aimed at all walks of life.
