we only lose to the lower teams Dom....you know of course that we always beat the ones at the top by your own humbling experience at our hands....

 

anyway...nice to see that you're back...where have you been...anywhere nice...hope you haven't been chasing the girls...stick to footie mate...its cheaper...!

 

as for the game...well we were diabolical for 30 minutes at which time we were 4-1 down and had left ourselves with a mountain to climb..we did our usual 'alamo' type seige extraganza in the second half and could have quite easily have won the game....(exciting as well) but...we can't keep giving teams a start and getting away with it...the warning signs with this lot were there when they slaughtered Northwood for 45 minutes and went in at half time 2-0 up...Northwood gave themselves a chance in the second...we were to far behind...

 

anyway...still second but obviously a poor result when we could have put a bit of daylight between us and the chasing pack...dunt wurry mate...we'll be there...never fear....

 

on another note it seems you're game was called off just before kick off...surprising really because the Thurrock pitch was okay (if you like sand) and so was the reserve game at the ol' stadium....hope you didn't all trail over to Ivanhoe...you should have called into our game on the way back and cheered us on...! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

From what I've seen this year there is very little between all the clubs in Div 1 north especially when they raise their game for the clash with the mighty urchins.

dont be gutted...dont just be hopeful...even the mighty Real Madrid (our sister club in Spain) cant win every game...be positive...we will go up this year....have faith urchins...have faith...
