I work with an allotment holder and apparently they seem happy for us to go there. They would rather a football stadium gets built there than a community centre, or more houses full of chavvy kids to break into their allotments.

Me too I think... too many false dawns in the past to get too optimistic about things this early. But then, at least things are happening behind the scenes and a meeting with property development and legal officers has to be a good thing... providing it happens.

its good to see things moving on, but i also wait to see the proof that everything has been agreed and building starts.

however, one other thing, where is all the money to build it going to come from??

A lot could come from the Football Foundation - Chris S etc have done a bit of work on this I seem to remember.
