Decision on Dorking FC

It does seem there will be more teams playing at Meadowbank then actual teams that are within the Dorking FC set up.

 

Does that seem right?

Dorking Girls are AFFILIATED to DFC - not run by them.

 

DFC provide facilities and back up.

 

If you require further details, I can get the Secretary to contact whoever is interested. (No - It's not me !)

Spursfan makes a good point, So it is only the first team that is part of the club, but they have no players, manager, businesses wanting to support the club.

Agree with Kroons good Youth set up is vitally important at this level to keep clubs in business both on and off the park.

 

Although a slight exaggeration I fear on ressie football for the U17s.

So if Dorking doesnt really have a youth side, or a girls side

or a reserve side, if they dont have any first team players or manager,

 

what the blooming heck are they doing down there?

ravaged the town and a monument to them stands on the Deepdene roundabout...

I think it looks good the chicken on the roundabout, gives an identity to the Town but not sure it was money well spent.

Money raised by a certain Tory Councillor from Public/Business subscription, (allegedly).

 

However M.V.D.C. has to pick up the bill every time the local chavs decide to spray it with pink paint. Not cheap, either. Over a Grand, (allegedly).

 

(Sorry about the repetitive use of the word allegedly, but one has to be careful.)

there is a big fivetoed [****!!****] on our roundabout.

 

sometimes people have a laugh and put eggs under it

It was Easter!

 

and scarves go on it when people have had a good time somewhere and stagger home from the railway

 

and everyone has a chortle and it makes the queue on the A25 slightly less boring

 

And ok it wasn't me but if I was eighteen again Id be doing exactly the same, and planning the next big jolly jape.
