Is that intended to merely be an amusing comment Colin, or are you REALLY not familiar with Scottish legend.
Even I know that RtB was hiding in a cave whilst his army was being turned over by us English. But upon watching a spider trying time and time again to construct a web before finally succeeding, he decided to give it one more go and eventually gave the Sassenachs a good hiding.
Seems to me that Jeff King the CCFC manager could do with a few spiders in his dug-out on SOME match-days!

This guy passed his time by watching a spider construct a web? Sounds like this Bob character had some serious issues.

Scottish history clearly isn't my thing but surely had RTB stayed in a house instead of a cave he'd have increased his chances of not being found by a factor of 10. Far more hiding places for a start - could be upstairs or downstairs, in a cupboard, or even under the bed. If the English couldn't spot him in a cave then they thoroughly deserved a good hiding! (I still have no idea where this dudes cave is!).

Anyway, if you wanna talk about Scottish legends, lets talk about a real hero - like William Wallace. Gotta admit he was simply fantastic in the Lethal Weapon series!

This thread truly is a close season delight ! Such awesome ramblings - for my twopenneth worth, I've been to Scotland once and stayed for three days at a B & B in Edinburgh within walking distance of both Easter Road and Meadowbank Stadium (I know cos I did ...). I also blagged a guided tour of Livingston FC and came away with a complementary out of date away strip. View was fantastic from the top of the Scot monument too.

Well as we are on a roam around Europe. I was in Cork Ireland last weekend taking part in the 15 mile Ocean to City Race.

We came in 3rd out of 104 boats and beat both Scotland & Poland amoungs others on the way.

No time for Navel but a very nautical time was had by all
