Got some questions from a friend of mine which maybe you guys can help me with, although it's not Billericay-related.

How much does a 3.division player earn a week, in average?

How much does a Ryman Premier League-player earn a week, in average?

How often does a 3.division player train each week?

How often does a Ryman Premier League-player train each week?

Players salaries are always an interesting one - often quoted after tax, so a player getting 200pw is really taking 240 from the club and giving 40 (I'm not up on taxes so this is a guess <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> ) to HM govt.

I think the above poster is probably being a bit cheap, you don't get much of a contracted player for less than £250 before tax these days, most of them more. Obviously most clubs will have their share of non-contract players who only get paid if they play. It's true to say that Billericay are neither the biggest payers in the division, nor the worst.

A few rumours of clubs with more money than sense have been floating around this season - Grays were supposed to have been paying Stafford Browne £650 a week at the start of the season, then gave him a pay off when he left. Steve Jones is supposed to be on £1300 a week as Hornchurches player coach. Steve Sedgely was apparently on something like £900 a week as Kingstonian manager.

Average wage bill in Conference is 14000 pounds per week for the manager staff and squad, the top clubs will be paying a lot more. I understand in Ryman Premier 6000 seems the average ,again I suppose top clubs paying a lot more would this be about right ? remember that players also have full time jobs .
