Do we know if we could just 'pop along' as it may be to the press conference today?

 

Seeing as the time is written on the official website I would assume we could, although I've asked the club by emailing them but I've haid no reply, it was sent on Wednesday evening as well so surely this should be long enough to expect a reply??

no one ever called you anything but the fleet and I personally think that the move here is innovative and a thing of the future...who cares what its called so long as its the same club with the same traditions and the same fans name for it....

great coup and money in the bank...imo the board are to be applauded for having the balls to pull it off...

How would your fans feel if you suddenly changed the clubs name from Hornchurch to Upminster? I don't think many of them would thank you!

Probably the same bearing in mind that the sponsorship deal wasn't dependent on the name change...

we used to be called upminster wanderers....although I take your point but still believe its a way forward for the future and that many clubs will do it to gain momentum and finance..

The Board have gone to great pains to say the name change had nothing to do with the sponsorship, but you can't help wondering if Eurostar hadn't been aproached(or approached the club), the name might not have been changed ar all!
