Will Fleet stay up?

The positive note is that they think that 9 more points will be enough to stay up.

I'm still not convinced about Stevenage though they have some tricky matches still to play, and at this end of the table points on the board are worth far more than games in hand.

No-one's ever gone down with 48 points or more in the last 10 years - there's a link here on the Burton forum showing what's needed to stay up:

Burton Albion

I could realistically see us getting 13 points from 33 in the games left, giving us 47 in total. Pure conjecture, obviously. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

HOME (6)

Burton, Northwich, Morecambe, Chester, Barnet, Halifax

AWAY (5)

Telford, Doncaster, Kettering, Leigh, Farnborough

This is what they have to finish with:

22 feb 2003 A -:- v hereford united

01 mar 2003 H -:- v forest green rovers

04 mar 2003 A -:- v dagenham and redbridge

08 mar 2003 A -:- v barnet

15 mar 2003 H -:- v woking

22 mar 2003 A -:- v scarborough

24 mar 2003 H -:- v kettering town

29 mar 2003 H -:- v dagenham and redbridge

05 apr 2003 H -:- v leigh rmi

12 apr 2003 A -:- v burton albion

19 apr 2003 H -:- v doncaster rovers

21 apr 2003 A -:- v chester city

26 apr 2003 H -:- v southport

TBA A -:- v telford united

So D&R twice plus Hereford, Doncaster, & Chester, that takes care of the games in hand then.

Good to see that it has got some debate going. It was not an exact science that created the article but I still think that you will survive.

Historically Burton have a good record at Stonebridge Road, I think we won on all of our visits in the Dr Martens in the 90's. Think though our run may come to an end next weekend.

Good luck for the rest of the season.
