so far managed to get one of the full backs in at Whitstable a midfielder in at Herne bay and possibly one of the forwards back at Dover but now dependent on new boss. Faversham showing interest in two but they are not too enamoured with that idea.

As I said it looks like the team will fragment shame but understandable they need to progress clearly RT has no interest in any of them.

 

What about the Centre Half thought he done well it the games I saw? with the release of so many young plyers, like whisker & Bagley the ones coming up must question ther chances.

No bagley offered play and pay contract. Heard he is putting Morris on contract which is a joke. How can you let Whisker go who is a far better player than morris his first touch is Cr-p makes his second look like a good challenge.

 

Trotty has lost the plot he seems to take the advise of Weatherley and that tw-t Moore without taking a good look himself. Otherwise why has'nt Barron been tied up on a contract. [****!!****]-ng disgrace he scored 16 out of 16 last season what more has the boy got to do.

 

I hope the lads have joined other teams atleast there get games not like Margate.

Just to add however is that Trott has seen probably 3 of the last 5 reserve games and was definitely there to witness a scorching goal from Barron against Deal so if someone can't get their own opinion after a goal like that then I dunno what to expect

reserve player Trotty was there for the game at Deal and from what I heard he missed the goal because he was on the phone most of the game. I know that for a fact because he told me so.

Just take it that I have supported Margate for over twenty years and they have never looked at youth as a possible source for the future not even when Mark Weatherly was here 10 years ago chapioning the cause. So why change now

I agree regarding the Whisker V Morris issue IMO, Whisker is the better player all round hey joseba, who the hell are you expecting people to identify themselves anyway mate lol regarding Barron I was there V Deal that was some goal. Anyway I have it on good source he will be a Maidstone player for the coming season if what I am told is correct he scored four in four at Ramsgate before coming across?

 

Not sure about Pratt likewise probably off to Chatham, Deal or Dover? The U18 will stay for another season MW must be pulling his hair out.

 

Bagley pay to play unlikely to earn much then loads of skill but needs to play!! will go mid season.

 

We need strength in depth we have it at the moment but I am not sure it will last to long...Wait for it Mr Wenger will come on now and suggest I have parental links lovl

Parental link in fact is true there is none but what about STEP-DAD does that classify as a parental link to one of the players?

Barron is or is not going to Maidstone ? Dont be shy just state what you know or are you confabulating?

I'm sure there are players going to leave Maragte but I doubt whether you will have a clear idea until September when some will have trialled elsewhere and seen if are to be taken on at another club.

There are two teams at Margate London Margate and Margate town.

Noone really cares about Margate town otherwise the new website would have a reserve team link- oops have they forgotten it exists

Say what you like about Ramsgate but they do seem to have a team spirit/ togetherness there which seems lacking at Margate

Maybe it will change when the season starts but do not hold your breath.

If all this is true and the reserve side ends up with a fair number of new players (local I hope) for next season, and in div 1, I hope they are given time to settle before comparisons are made.
