Hi Warren,

 

Wanted to pick your brains on something - a friend of mine has recently set up a website which is dedicated in equal measures to league and non league football and has asked me to contribute a few bits and pieces. I've written a short biog of Slough already but he was quite interested in the idea of a Positives vs Negatives of having a trust run a club and I thought you'd be the ideal person to start gleaning information from, what with your "The Way Forward?" piece earlier this season.

 

Is there anything you can recommend I consult for this?

Hi Charlie

If you go to my blog and type in supporters trust in the search, there's plenty to keep you going. Articles on Enfield Town, FC United etc. Maybe send those clubs a short questionaire asking their pros and cons? Might be worth contacting those higher up the pyramid like Exeter as well.
