Paula - You may have already gone on holiday to the delights of North Yorkshire but I'm not with you on this one, say what exactly.

I understand what she meant Rhodes! She was expressing annoyance at your statement that you are always "upfront with people from thee outset! Might be something to do with forgetting to tell her about Bewareof and the six kids when you were trying it on with her?

Actually I will miss you, why don't you find an internet cafe somewhere and log on just to keep us abreast of what you're up to.

Horace - Have you heard from Paula recently, I'm sure she has texted you since she went up to Yorkshire. Did she get caught up in the flooding.

No. I haven't - why would I, presumably she's gone up there with her boyfriend.

Horace - Just a loosener to start off this evenings fun and games particularly as I see that 'Sugar' has posted on another thread. I only asked if Paula had texted you because she regards you as a bit of a Father figure although I believe you once hoped that there would be more in it than that.

Horace - Somehow I don't think the floods would have bothered Paula that much if you get my meaning, I doubt she, sorry they, will have ventured outside the cottage.

I believe that the main purpose of going there was to do lots of walking, with the dogs. Trust you to lower the tone as usual.

Surely they can walk dogs on Canvey Island, anyway it can't have been much fun walking in all that rain, if that's the case then no wonder they came back early. I know what I would have preferred to do.

Thanks Horace - it was pretty bad where we were but not as bad as South Yorkie.

Rhodes, not quite the same walking dogs on Canvey. The Yorkshire Moors are just a tad better than 'Canvey Heights' and a walk around the seawall.

As for walking in the rain well that isnt really a problem, have all the correct clothing for walking so most enjoyable.

Oh and the boyfriend was only there for 3 days, I was then alone with Rusty - very enjoyable too smile

You should have texted me and I would have been up in a shot, in more ways than one!
