Of course, we may have to wait awhile for that.

Howabout, as an interim measure, if anyone has captured a typical Dennis photo, we get it framed, and find a suitable place on the wall of the clubhouse (MISA and Club in agreement)? He could always be found post game, pint in hand, chatting to everyone, with his own appropriate comments with reference our performance.

If anyone deserves a place it is him.

Hello everyone

I am John brother of Dennis, i am absolutely overwhelmed with sentiments and tributes left on this site! I am sorry that i havent been able to leave any information untill now as i have had a nightmare of a task having Dennis repatriated. However hopefully things are now sorted. Tom Mckenna (hopefully that is spelt correctly) has been in touch and i will keep him informed of details as soon as i have something confirmed about funeral dates ect.

Thankyou everyone for being a friend of Dennis, we all know he was one in a million and will be sorely missed by his family and friends.

Regards John

Hello everyone, the latest news on Dennis is that he is on his way home today, Blackburns undertakers from Broadstairs will be collecting Dennis from Gatwick to bring him home.

Funeral arrangements have not been finalised but I will keep everyone informed on this thread.

I hope that friends of Dennis will read todays Isle of Thanet Gazette as Alex Mcnally has done a wonderful job of a tribute to Dennis on page 6, Many thanks for that Alex!
