Well, it's that week of the year when St Albans are replaced by Kingstonian as many Bedford fans favorite 2nd team.............As you all know, we here at Bedford are renowned for singing for at least 130 minutes before during and after a game (probably) and so I throw down the gauntlet! Lets make it loud, lets make it proud, lets make it biblical( ) and may the best team win.

 

The Booze train from Bedford centraal has been arranged and the theme has been sorted.

 

I notice both our teams are on a bit of a $h1t one at the moment so lets have some fun.

We have arranged something new for Saturday, something untried yet very real and bound to offend. I am however sworn to secrecy. But what I will say is that it's gonna be quite different.

I might come along as a member of the Polyphonic Spree. I think every non-league football game should be one big fancy dress party.

I reckon we have at least 10 martyrs and It's nothing militry, The clue is in the title of this thread. We have even spent a tenner each on our 'kit'

This is the 3rd theme day this term and promises to be the best. Should be a beer frenzy as we are coming down on the train.

We had an 'Islamic Jihad' day against Stotfold in the Beds Senior Cup..Didn't go down too well though! Lessons were learned

we had 5 takers and it was pretty graphic, talking 'headware, cloaks, staff, (plastic) guns, one old boy who we shall call Eagle Eyed (only because its his BTFC messageboard name) even 'blacked himself up' for the occasion. I know we had a group photo prior to the game, I shall try and get hold of it before the game.

So, what are the chances of getting from the station to the ground without getting too much hassel from the locals if we are pissed up and in full kit?

Yeah, you'll have no probs. We got a good sense of humour here in St Albans, and besides, it's only a two or three minute walk from the station.

 

Come out the main entrance on platform one. Turn left out the station and you're practically there.
