Rob Quinn signs for...

Recommended Posts

Fleetbabe (and other supporters of Quinn), one thing I did like about Quinn was his work-rate- the most important thing for a defensive midfielder to have. I couldn't fault his effort 9 times out of 10.

But, and this is the 'but' that makes me think he'd be on his way out, there are better defensive midfielders around. Marc Ricketts is about ten years younger than Quinny, and I feel he's a better defensive midfielder. Both are quiet players, but Quinn seems quieter and less noticeable than Ricketts who looks more the finished article there.

Good luck to him though, he has played an important part in our second-highest ever finish and I'll take my hat off to him for the work he's done here!

I would say that a vast majority of our fans saw Rob as a good, hard-working midfielder, but was booed by those select few fans everytime a small mistake was made - none of those mistakes, I recall, were not exactly critical errors. I remember this from when Rob was substitued at one of the last few home games (either Southport or Northwich at home). I'm sure this had stuck in Rob's mind, since that game.

You are correct, Kayne, in saying that there are better defensive midfielders out there, it is just a question of finding them. But all we could do was admire his work rate, especially when we played Oxford United at home. Very memorable.

Here, here Jessica, he and Slatts controlled the middle of midfield that day. An inspired performance by the both of them.

I know Kev it's come to that. It's either watching 11 scantily clad fitties parading around in next to nothing or watching a discussion about Quinny looking like Dean Gaffney. Which one shall I choose.............................................................HELLO FITTIES!!!!!

Ooh hello...picking me up on me gramar.

I just can't help myself. I love this place.

At least it's intellectural on here. The one dilema I have is that watching (sorry reading) on here, watching gorgeous doris's on BB. I can't do three things at once.

Happy Days
