The loophole was shut on the 4th polaced team if another wins the Cup. The winners do automatically qualify from now on.

From what I've read/heard (not watched however, was work ) Liverpool were all over Milan and their goal was a stroke of luck, against the run of play, right on half time which simply took the wind out of Liverpool. Doesn't sound like they were outclassed at all but can't really pass judgement when only seen highlights...

wouldn't say liverpool were all over milan but were definatly playing the best football,they just never looked dangerous until crouch came on

a load of Milan is well in the top four and will automatically get a champions league place the same as Liverpool and Arsenal.did you see Paolo in the avatar?he looks awesome

Watched the match in a bar in Prague. Thought it was a dissapointing game and neither side played that well.

 

Liverpool edged it but couldn't take the clear cut chances that fell to Pennant and Gerrard. Milan were just that bit more ruthless although Kaka had a poor game.
