Latest News Release - Danny Hockton

Recommended Posts

The Board of Directors have received a written transfer request from Danny Hockton. Danny confirms his wish to play at a higher level in the pyramid, and in accordance with Danny’s wishes, the Club have notified all clubs in Conference South, Conference National and Division 2 of the Football League of his availability. Danny’s contract with Margate remains in place until the end of next season and the Board of Directors will require a transfer fee.

Further to this, the Council have called for a meeting on site next Wednesday and from that meeting it is hoped that we can commence works in the park.

Up the Gate!

Not good news in the first part but I guess if we can get a good fee for him will help for extra players?

Bit better 2nd part, fingers crossed for the go ahead.

So not as clear cut as Ezekiel made out when pandering for our votes at the meeting.

For what reason have they called for a site meeting, what is their justification?

I would say they are stalling ONCE MORE (plus claiming taxpayers money for showing up at another bloody meeting about the football club)

Ohh well a shame but not unexpected, i dont blame him after the amount of goals he scored he deserved to be in a promoted team.

It may be worth having a look at Brendon Cass he knocked a few in last season.

Good luck to him if he gets a move can't say I'd like to work for Trotty in 1 job let alone two like Danny .

I do believe a thread was brought up about this a few weeks ago with speculation about Bromley. I said then it would be a good time for him to try and ply his trade at a higher level because he like me probably belives Margate ain't going anywhere.

I wonder if Trotty will make stupid comments on Danny if he moves on.

I was meaning nobody appears to have signed him up despite him being touted around & trialling for higher clubs.
