Clapton FC pre season friendly wanted

Recommended Posts

Paulb - It's not as bad as all that, I watched Haringey win there in the FA Vase two seasons ago when Takumi bent in the winner from the corner flag and I didn't have a problem with it at all other than the run down area it's in.

Hey if you call used needles in the dug out fine, then its a lovely place. Pitch was shocking, showers drain into the main changing room, rubbish all round ground.

Still stand by the worst place I have ever played football comment here though.

Football Man - Well that's a silly question, of course I do, there is a large African Community in Clapton as well as Asian.

The boss - You haven't come back onto this thread since your original post however I have e-mailed your Club attaching a link to this thread for information purposes. I hope that you will agree to play the fixture at the Old Spotted Dog a week before the official season commences or we would happily settle for midweek if need be. Thanks.

Football Man - Well we will see whether the fixture takes place or not at the Old Spotted Dog, if it does you will owe me an unreserved apology. Watch this space folks.

Well we'll see won't we, as I said watch this space. There's certainly a lot of interest in this thread considering the guy from Clapton simply asked if anyone was interested in a pre-season friendly so what does that tell you right there.

Horace - Well I'm not exactly forcing their arms up their backs, they can choose to ignore the thread.

Whether it's deliberate or not, your posts are usually so provocative that people just can't resist a reply. The jury is still out on whether you are a master wind up merchant, as suggested by that nice Uncle Urchin, or whether you truly are on another planet!

Horace - I don't think my posts are provocative at all, just the opposite infact and like I said I don't have Forum members in headlocks forcing them to reply, it's a free country. I've never wound anybody up on here and simply speak from the heart and as I find, what's wrong with that.

Horace - Why on earth would you think that, anyway didn't we meet briefly at the legendary friendly on 15 August so you will have seen for yourself that I'm quite normal.
