Totally agree PB. Its a bl00dy joke!!

Teams fight hard all season and for no reward it seems.

Ash had an extra celebration at the end of the season. We helped Guildford go down and were pleased to see Godalming relegated where they belong. It just means that Guildford will struggle again and Godalming will get tonked a few more times!!

Does this sort of thing happen a lot ? I know sides dont get promoted because of ground issues but noone relegated is very strange. Makes a load of games last year that seemed really important at the time meaningless friendlies.

It also now seems that reserve sides from Ryman prem and above will be allowed to enter at about this level.

Managers will have a hard time getting players out to train and motivate them on a cold Tuesday February night.

Good luck lads!

its about time stricter rules regarding the financing of football clubs were put in place then we would not have the likes of Farnbough Town folding, New Milton Town submitting themselves for voluntary relegation. Far too many clubs overstrecthing themselves spending money on players they have not got. There have been more football clubs go bust or go into voluntary liquidation over the past two seasons than in the previous ten

As for reserve teams, each league should run a reserve league for their member clubs. They should not play in lower leagues. What will happen is when the first team do not have a match, they will all get drafted to play in the lower league team, and if the reserve side get into relegation trouble, again the side will get loaded with players from the 1st team to get them out of trouble thus giving a false look to the league. Im totally against it

the reserve thing could ruin competitive lower league football.

They may finish at the top of the league but be unable to get promoted because they cant get too high up the pyramid.

So you could get sides finishing fourth or fifth going up.

They probably wont get relegated as you say.

And one week they will put out a youth side to give them a go and another week first teamers getting a bit fitter.

Not a fair deal for the opposition.

it just seems too daft an idea to be true.
