C'mon fellas. It's very rare for a ressie player to be offered a contract. Only if really outstanding and a sniff of higher clubs after them so to make money They rarely have a chance to prove themselves, the most the Ressies can hope for is a supportive word in thier ear from the 1st team manager

Who in their right mind would sign a contract without some sort of guarantee that what happened last year with the players who went up to first team won't happen to them.

 

Morris knows full well how things work regarding contracts, his dad has been round long enough to know all about it.

 

He left Ramsgate because he did'nt like sitting on the bench so he must realise thats all that will happen here. Just depends if he likes playing for reserves enough to wait and see but I would'nt hold my breath.

sources have said that Barron,allen, heath, morris have minor contracts ie. pay and play whatever that is.

tehrest will be signed to sit on the bench when injuries start to bite especially as will not have big squad as no money

Wow i'm really pleased that alan heath has got a contract if true. Played along side him in my youth football days and against him this season. You lot might not agree but I think he can cut it in the Ryman. We'll see!

I have seen him a few times this season Paul and have been impressed with his overall play. Just needs to take command more at the back at times ie talking a bit more.

Played with AH loads of times and he needs to be more vocal, IMO. Also he has signed for a Saturday side this coming season ?

Just aswell Dan because he will never play for the first team all the time Trotty is around. He might take him to keep the bench walm now and then.

i dont think any contracts will be offered to the ressies. but with a few kent league clubs intrested it would make sense to try and keep some of the promising players and build for the future for margate fc

The future for Margate will always be dependent on money. If they have any they will always buy in players same as the last 11 years.
